I'm curious as to how this will disrupt exports. It touched on the fact that the US exports a majority of the world's maize, but did not touch on the suspected outcomes.

When you think of ecological disruptions especially a drought, you think of food supply. The crops that are lost, because the world does specialized work, it affects the masses when one industry is experiencing losses. Most all states especially Alaska import food. My Dad says if they can't get that fruit from a normal place they have to go elswhere. That commodity in the alternative place may not hold up as well to logistics affecting the consumer because shelf life changes. The world is connected like roots. The world is connected like water, you feel the ripples and the waves.
